We’ll be rafting on the South Fork and Middle Fork American Rivers through the end of September! The South Fork has been flowing at 1500CFS (cubic feet/second), which is an awesome summer flow. All the rapids are great at this flow, and now that we’re into the second half of summer, the very last rapid of the day “Surprise!” is in! If you’ve rafted the South Fork before, you’ll probably remember “Surprise!” pretty well.
The Middle Fork has been flowing at 1600CFS since May and continues to be one of California’s classic whitewater runs. All the rapids, starting with “Good Morning” and finishing with “Texas Chainsaw Mama“, are at their best at this flow. Check out some of our Middle Fork videos here.
