Every day, Whitewater Connection welcomes rafters from all over California. They come from places near and far: Sacramento, the Bay Area, Fresno, and Southern California (hello, San Diego!). Many of them plan their rafting trip months in advance, and some of them – in the spur of the moment- call us the day before and get on whatever trip we have space available; they just wanna get on the river! All of them, though, are so excited to get on the river it’s palpable. This is when you see the grown-ups acting like 6 year-olds, dancing around in their lifejackets like their on a sugar-buzz, splashing water at strangers in other boats (in a funny paradox, making enemies and new friends at the same time). They’ll finish their day with a funny tan on their faces showing crow’s-feet from their day-long grin!
